Golding William. Lord Of The Flies: New York, New York: The Berkley Publishing Group, 1954
lord of the flies is a story that can be interpreted many different ways such as though government and biblical allegory's, while some may argue wither William Golding did these on purpose or mirlly incident. Manly the book is about a group of children who meet on a island after a plane crash and have to form a society, and then have a power struggle and later on separate and have two different factions

i do believe that children do commit some adult crimes such as murder rape and kid napping, but sometimes it is because they don’t know better and there are consequences at times if they don’t do it or some disorder they are dealing with most of the time children don’t know any better. as I read from one of the comments to the article, someone stated that if a toddler push his mother by the stairs and she would fall down and die, should he be tried as an adult or as a minor or at all? I believe children should only be tried if they are 100% aware on what they did.
as for jack being tried as a an adult I would feel it would be very highly unnecessary because of all the stress and fights on the island and he became very delusional, and it wouldn’t be fare to trie him when he wasn’t the only one to do harm to someone on the island, and really his crimes would only be very minor, and also he may also be very harmed from this incident both physically and mentally.
as I stated earlier children should only be tried as adults if they know what they did and were 100% aware of the consequences or harm it could have caused.that is what i believe , but most of the time justice is very unjust

Piggy’s glasses
it was first just an item worn by a individual then it became much much more, after time people started to see the one who held it or possessed it was the one with insight or knowledge and power but it was sadly broken and corrupted "Ralph made a step forward and jack smacked piggy’s head. piggy’s glasses flew off and tinkled on the rocks. Piggy cried out in terror: 'my specs' he went crouching and feeling over the rocks but Simon who got them first, found them for him"(71) "one sides broken"(71) and then changed for all time "the chief led them, trotting steadily, exulting his achievement. he was a chief now in truth; and he made a stabbing motion now with his spear. From his left hand dangled piggy’s broken glasses"
from this you can see how it was an object of value and now destroyed and now a symbol of one’s power over another being.

a couple of days have passed, and further examination of Simon have shown that his condition of pts(post traumatic stress) has worsen, it seems that he has become more delusional and it continues to get worse, a couple of days ago he started to do some strange type of ritual and he was sitting in the forest alone and seems to try to put him self though pain in the hot sun while trying to concentrate, but suddenly he came to me with fear, and when he learned that his fear was just the unknown, and also his fear for authority and acceptance for example from his previews days ""(), from this you can notice the fear he has, but once he realized this he was seeing his world though a different view , and felt overwhelmed with the truth and went back to camp to tell the others, but sadly he came in at the wrong time, the boys where frantic and full of testosterone, by then the killing of the pig and then Simon, sadly was mistaken for the beast , and killed

iv been watching over the boys and it seems that most of them are deveopling some disorder, one of the boys im most concerned about is simon, he seems to be really losing it and im not sure if hes quite ready to be in this type of environment,ov seen him since the beguning he first stared about being ralphs seconed hand man, and now he seems to be confusided on who to follow, now hes with jacks side of the island and he dosnt seem to like it so much because they seem to ignore him, i also have noticed that he started to talk to a pigs head witch seems highly unhealthy.
so im am diagnosing simon with post traumatic stress disorder also known as p.s.t.d. as an example "simon's head was tilted slightly up. his eyes could not break away and the lord of the flies hung in space before him. 'what are you doing here all alone? aren't you afraid of me?' simon shook 'there isn't anyone to help you. only me and i'm the beast' "(143) as from that you can see simon is clearly delusional and is talking to an inanomite object non the less a pigs head on a stick. i belive he is loseing it and his mind is tricking him "'come now,' said the lord of the flies. 'get back to the others and we'll forget the whole thing'" (143) these are the reason why i belive that simon has p.s.t.d. and i find his treatment should be to be removed from the island.

I feel people I know tend to be hypocrites at times around authority, for example they won’t say things that they normally will around there peers, or there is other that act freely and don't care about authority at all. All around I think most people behave accordingly to not be in trouble.
I believe the boys in the book are acting differently then they normally would, for example killing pigs, holding meeting and talking about what needs to be done. Reason I feel that there acting differently is some of them are acting very grown up, thinking about life trying to have order.
I feel without authority kids and adults will do what ever pleases them, good or bad. Iv seen people or been with people that do things that don’t want authority’s to know they did and if there wasn’t authority’s they would probably continue to do so and probably never stop because there would be no consequences

Quote: "kill the pig. Cut her throat. Spill her blood."
Question: why are they so proud?
Comment: it seems like all the hunters care about is food and living and not getting off the island. As jack there leader it seems like the island is now getting divided into 3 sections and Ralph is slowly losing power. Was this the plan of jack? To get the children that where keeping the fire alive to go hunting so it would go away and that meat would be more important. apparently that what every one is thinking and it seems that jack will become the new leader and Ralph, piggy, and Simon will be left and every one will want to hunt and want to provide for them and be seen and hero's and saviors
